Activities

High excitement, stomach churning and a great confidence builder. Test your skills by taking on an aerial obstacle course. Adrenalin Forest courses feature over 100 fun filled challenges across six levels. Each level is harder than the last, with obstacles starting at 1.5 metres above the ground. To conquer the whole course and claim your bragging rights, you’ll be climbing, jumping and swinging at least 20 metres up in the air.
Perched on top of Papamoa Hills, Summerhill Estate Golf Course offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with captivating sea views and picturesque park like surrounds. The New Zealand affiliated 35 par 9 hole golf course measures 2480 metres. The course layout and undulating fairways will reward risk takers and challenge golfers of all skill levels.
Ready for an unforgettable adventure. Experience the beauty of the region like never before with a V8 Trike Tours. From golden beaches to scenic lookouts. Hear the roar of the V8 Trikes as you cruise on a leisurely tiki tour.

Venture to the top of our most famous landmark and then enjoy lunch in this busy little beachside township
Mauao stands 232-metres above sea level and its summit tracks are not a casual stroll. You’ll need a reasonably good level of fitness and mobility to climb to the top but it’s certainly worth the effort. You can survey the entire Western Bay of Plenty from this vantage point – right down the white sand coastline to Pāpāmoa and beyond, over the harbour and Tauranga’s city suburbs, and north across Matakana Island towards Bowentown and Waihī Beach.

It’ll take between 30-minutes and 45-minutes to reach the summit, depending on how frequently you stop along the way. Once you’re at the top, there’s the odd picnic table and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the 360° view. Seek shade in the large Pōhutukawa trees.

Return to the bustly township of Mount Maunganui for lunch & drinks
